Instructions
In a small mixing bowl, combine dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried marjoram, and dried parsley (if using).
Add garlic powder and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Stir or whisk until the herbs are evenly combined.
Transfer the seasoning blend to an airtight jar or spice container. Label it with the date and store in a cool, dry place.
Use as needed to season pasta sauces, marinades, soups, roasted vegetables, or pizza dough.

Grinding the herbs in a mortar and pestle or spice grinder creates a finer texture that’s perfect for rubs or blending into sauces.
