Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium-sized ripe tomatoes sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella sliced or as small balls
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • On a serving platter, alternate layers of sliced tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, slightly overlapping each piece.
  • Tuck whole basil leaves between the tomato and mozzarella slices for a fresh pop of color and flavor.
  • Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the entire salad, followed by the balsamic glaze.
