Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
  • 12 ounces spaghetti noodles
  • 3 cups marinara sauce Your favorite pre-made or homemade
  • Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook spaghetti noodles in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on a plate or tray.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the meatballs on all sides until browned.
  • Add marinara sauce to the skillet, cover, and simmer the meatballs for 10-15 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Toss the cooked spaghetti with some of the marinara sauce, plate it, and top with meatballs. Garnish with Parmesan and parsley if desired.

Notes

To reheat leftovers, add a splash of water to the sauce and warm over low heat to maintain the texture and flavor.
